I am honoured to be the president of Indian Frozen Food Importers and Traders Association (IFFITA).

IFFITA, a not-for-profit entity incorporated under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013, is an umbrella association for the Indian frozen and chilled food industry. The association aims to promote the frozen and chilled food sector as a trade to form an integral part of economic development in the country. IFFITA is a platform for advisory services regarding imports, taxation, investment and economic policies of the government and will act as a catalyst in bringing together businesses, government authorities and regulatory bodies.

We, as an association, will effectively follow up the issues pertaining to product import and trade, customs, FSSAI regulations, DAHD and food safety, and will maintain interactions with the government authorities to discuss the major challenges faced by the industry and strengthen our relations with the regulatory bodies.

IFFITA is also working towards ironing out the various hurdles faced by the multiple stakeholders, directly and indirectly aligned with the frozen and chilled food trade and will promote programs aimed at the development of the frozen and chilled food industry with like-minded bodies.

I would appreciate your support immensely and regard it as an encouragement to continue the action I have begun as a president. over these coming years, we will continue to build on our strengths and also take on new directions.
